Business Is All About YOU!
When it comes to whom to focus on in running a business, we're always told the customer comes first.
Really?
What if your business didn't matter? What if you were gone tomorrow? Dead? What if you left the business or the business stopped supporting you and your family?
Everyday of being a business owner is a struggle.
"I hope the phone rings because we need the money."
"I hope the phone doesn't ring because I really want to play with my kids."
"I hope the phone rings so my employee can get more hours."
I was reading an article in a religious magazine (here) and got hit between the eyes with what the author said.
"[What matters] is what you become because of your business."
Wow!
I've been doing this all wrong. I've been trying to put the customer first. I've been trying to get more customers. I've been...
What I need to realize is- what am I learning? How am I showing love and compassion to others? How is this business allowing me to be better for my family?
